Eurostar Entertainment is an exciting Australian entertainment agency, focused on bringing some of the very best entertainment from around the world to Australia. We bring a new and different flavour to the entertainment scene for clubs and hotels, private functions, festivals and major outdoor and industry calendar events.
Eurostar Entertainment acquired Canberra's longest-running entertainment agency, Funnell Entertainment, in January 2024, bringing a wide variety of local and national musicians, tribute acts, specialty acts and MCs and speakers under the Eurostar umbrella. We look forward to continuing to build on a 40+ year legacy of delivering great entertainment for events in Canberra and beyond.
As well as international talent, the agency represents and supports talented local and national artists. Based in Canberra, our aim is to provide the very best of live music both locally and nationally.

Managing Director Joe Teixeira brings a wealth of experience and industry know-how to the agency, having worked as an Entertainment Manager for over 15 years. He has had the privilege of working with many local, national and international artists from around the world including:

ANDREW RICKARD
AV & PRODUCTION MANAGER
Andrew has been involved in the music scene for many years, as both a sound technician and musician (bass guitar). Andrew purchased Funnell Entertainment in July 2017 from industry stalwart Peter Funnell, with a view to fulfilling his lifelong passion for music. Andrew knows the Canberra music scene. In addition to performing with various bands for many years, off-stage Andrew also operated as a booking agent for bands and venues.
He records and mixes, and has spent the last several years selling and renting music gear, promoting local acts and establishing new live music venues.
Andrew continues to be involved in the new Eurostar Entertainment and will be a key part of the transition. You will also find him providing the production and AV for Eurostar Entertainment's visiting international artists, so stay tuned!
TARA NICHOLS
MARKETING & PROMOTIONS
Tara is the brains behind TL Creative, a Canberra marketing agency passionate about helping individuals and small to medium businesses build their brand. With 12+ years experience in marketing and communications working for international corporations and cultural institutions, Tara is also a professional singer and entertainment professional with an insider’s view of the industry. When she’s not building a website, creating social media content for a client or designing something, you’ll find her belting out tunes with Canberra’s top corporate show band Smooth Ops, channelling her inner Shirley Bassey in The Name's Bond, performing in her duo or moonlighting as a lead vocalist with other bands. Her skills and experience extend across many areas including branding, copywriting, advertising and media booking, marketing strategy, digital marketing and social media.
HELEN RIMANIC
BOOKINGS MANAGER
Helen has been involved in entertainment for many years, in particular in the amateur theatre scene. With her passion for theatre and performance, Helen was the creator and director of the unique, fast-moving lip sync theatre show 'The Great Pretenders', where various performers would lip-sync to dozens of popular songs, complete with 200 impressive costumes.
Helen has also enjoyed a long career in the fashion industry as a model, fashion compere and coordinator. These days, her main focus is her work as a marriage celebrant, and she has been bringing a 'touch of theatre' to the Wedding Fair for over 25 years. Now, through her long friendship with Joe Teixeira she is starting an exciting new chapter as the bookings manager for Eurostar Entertainment.
